Budgerigar World Editor Terry Tuxford, Resigns

Terry TuxfordTerry Tuxford has issued the following statement:

I wish to advise all the subscribers, the readership of Budgerigar World Magazine and to the hobby in general, that I am now no longer Editor of BW after editing and writing 245 editions over a period of more than 20 years and since taking over from Gerald Binks.

Enquiries in respect to editorial content, publishing, distribution and subscription management of BW should be addressed direct to the County Press, Bala, North Wales offices, as listed in your magazine.

About the Author: Gerald Binks began breeding budgerigars when he was 12 years old and is now arguably the most knowledgeable budgerigar fancier in the world. He has bred his fair share of Best in Show birds, judged in no less than 20 countries, founded the World Budgerigar Association, and has published two of the three classic books on the hobby. His stud in the UK attracts fanciers from near and far and is always high on the list for those wishing to purchase BA23 quality budgerigars.

    I think Budgerigar World had started to lose its appeal for quite some time now.

    I can’t see it lasting much longer, if at all as I can’t remember the last edition I had.

    Hi eveyone
    Anybody got the same problem as myself,found out my direct debit for the magazine has been collected up to present(my fault for not cancelling earlier )tried contacting Mr Evans regards this both by phone and letter but to no avail,is any other fellow fanciers owed money in this way.
